This is a reproduction of Gandharan gold solar medallion discovered at the ancient city of Sirkap in Taxila, dating back to around the first century BCE. It reflects the unique crossroads of Greek, Persian, and Indian craftsmanship along the Silk Road, featuring intricate filigree, an eight-pointed starburst in repoussé relief, and dangling loop-in-loop chains. Today, it is in the National Museum in New Delhi.
