The central figure and rounded silhouette are inspired by the iconic Poporo Quimbaya, an emblematic ritual vessel crafted by the indigenous Quimbaya civilization of pre-Columbian Colombia (circa 500–700 CE). The stylized human figure—often seated with hands on knees and wearing a rounded headdress and nose ornament—symbolized high social status, spiritual harmony, and leadership, with the original masterpiece now standing as one of the founding treasures of the Gold Museum (Museo del Oro) in Bogotá.
