This design draws direct inspiration from the sacred cosmology of the Muisca civilization, who inhabited the high Andean plateaus of central Colombia. To the Muisca, gold (chibcha: nyia) was not a currency of wealth, but a physical vessel of divine solar energy, embodying Sua, the supreme Sun god, while turquoise and green stones represented water, agricultural life, and celestial connection. The circular medallion represents the radiant solar wheel, its central spiral symbolizing the eternal cycle of life, renewal, and cosmic movement. Worn originally by chiefs (caciques) and spiritual leaders during sacred offerings and rituals at sacred sites like Lake Guatavita
